If you're looking for a low priced, unfurnished place to live in Dar you will need a local agent to help you with the search. Please note that they charge a small fee Tsh 3,000-10,000 for taking you around to view vacant properties. It's important therefore to let them know exactly what you're looking for so as to avoid being taken to view properties that you would not consider living in. If you're really big on finishing make sure you let them know that you're interested in tiled houses for example.
